Bandipora, February 14 (KNO) : Four Kashmiri student was allegedly beaten by Some bulls of Maharashtra Batch in Raipur Chattisgrah on Wednesday evening.When they were in the canteen with some non-Kashmiri boys at evening. Reports Reaching KNO said that the students, identified as, Faisal Ahamad Parray son of Mohammad Akabar Parray,Zahid Afazal wani, Son of Mohammad Afzal wani, Naveed Ahamad Hajam son of Nazir ahamad Hajam, Mohsin Salam Rather son of Abdul Salam Rather, All four of these students belong to Bandipora area Northern Kashmir. Sources told KNO that, all four students from Bandipora went to Chhattisgarh for Six months undertaking Himiyat training at Raipur in Chattisgrah, Himayat is a skill development cum placement programme for unemployed youth of the Jammu and Kashmir with a focus on providing skilled and sustainable employment for rural poor. Faisal Ahamad a injured student told KNO that We had four kashmiri students together in the canteen The same time group of non-Kashmiri boys came And they started thrashed us with iron roads and knives About half an hour Then our four colleagues were injured. However, police have taken cognizance of the incident and investigation is currently underway. Meanwhile, parents of the Kashmiri students urged the state government to intervene in this regard to ensure safety of their children's in Chattisgrah.(KNO)
